Daddy's Blanket Dedication at the Hospital

Father in Heaven, I love you. Today was such a priceless day for me. The weather held out good and my daughter and I made it to Methodist Hospital on time to meet with the ladies of Pastoral Care for the Blanket Dedication honoring my Dad's... memory. It was indeed a blessing. Here I was feeling overwhelmed and blessed that it was happening and they were thanking me for thanking them and doing what I was doing. Maggie said too often they don't receive feedback from families and it was a blessing to hear and witness through what I was doing in my dad's memory that blessed her and confirmed that the fruit of their labor was being effective. We were all smiles, and we talked about the Lord, Love, and my dad. Maggie prayed over the blanket and we talked some more and this was all done in the chapel. I was blessed that Diane Pirollo from the Women's Association joined us because she had heard about the ministry I was lead to begin after my dad's passing. She was a lovely lady as well as Maggie and Marcy from Pastoral Care. She gave me information about the Women's Association and the gift of a book called "The life of a Nurse". I look forward to reading up on the history of what women are doing for the Lord in Love. I rode the broad street line home on such a high. I thought about daddy a little and refused to let those sad emotions try to take my mind in another direction. I continued to smile and hold on to the memories of him and what just took place. The beginning of my mission to spread love and the hope of God wherever from that moment God chooses to send me. I thank him for today and for the guidance I believe he is going to give me on the mission he intends for me to embark on. I thank my daughter Felicia for being my co-partner today and for my oldest daughter who works a hard shift and wanted to be there with us but was their with us in spirit. Daddy this one's for you...
